In the dead of winter in small-town Wisconsin, with everything covered in snow, Marty, a sharp-tongued 75-year-old and longtime church volunteer, heads to her local church to prepare for a wedding. Known for her no-nonsense attitude and for driving the church staff crazy, Marty quickly finds herself at odds with the bridal party, including the pregnant bride, Dawn, and her stepmother, Tammy, over last-minute decorations.
