Min Fjendes Fjende - Bedraget i Helmand

A former Danish soldier turned film-maker returns to the capital of Helmand, to investigate allegations that the Afghan police abused young boys and men when the Danish and British were in control.

When Danish troops are sent to Musa Qala in Helmand in 2006, they discover that their collaborators in the local Afghan police force sexually abuses minor boys. The Danish major reports it to the British leadership, but to his surprise he is told to ignore it. When the Danes leave Musa Qala, the Brits and later the Americans continue a long-standing collaboration with the brothers. In the film, former soldier Martin Tamm Andersen and journalist Nagieb Khaja travel to Helmand and discover a brutality that reveal why the local civilians in Helmand chose to ally with the Taliban instead of the West.
