Under the full orange moon, Leon catches fireflies in a jar to go night-fishing with his chipmunk companion, Earl. As the boy gets to work, the moon's bright light suddenly dims and, as if by magic, Leon finds himself whisked off to the dark and dangerous celestial body. As Leon sets foot on the enchanting landscape, his mission becomes clear. Can the little boy from Earth restore the moon to its former glory and save its only inhabitant, the cryptic Moon Girl?
