Veronica was the life of any party when she was in university. Having graduated a year ago, her life hasn't gone anywhere since. The only light in her directionless life of frustrated ambitions and dead-end jobs is her friendship with her naive and co-dependent co-worker Emily. Faced with the unusual prospect of a weekend off together, Emily invites Veronica to spend it with her at her family's holiday home.
